Today was the second time I was told that I am really not very old. I will only be 88 in just over a week.
Perhaps I can say I am old when I am 90, but 100 is really the benchmark for being old. Then again, so many people are 100 years old these days. 103 isn’t unusual.
The message was: “Your age is nothing special. Stop bragging about it.”
Point taken. So, for the next few years, I will be young. I can get used to that.
Just hope my energy levels will realize that I am still young.
So for the next few years, I will be young.
Hi Mrs. Evenbly,
This is Barb Fortune (you probably remember me as Barbie), from the Boston Avenue neighborhood in Urbandale. I ordered your book for my 84 year “young” dad Dwight as a Christmas gift. It is scheduledfor delivery tomorrow (Thursday). He remembers you, Fritz, and the rest of the family with great fondness.
