It has now been two weeks since my second COVID-19 vaccination. The snow is gone. I feel like I’m in a dream.

Today I went to a grocery store. It was full of people, all happy to be out. Everybody greeted everybody. Many people had a short conversation with laughs and smiles. Like a party.

Tomorrow, I will go to Trader Joes and a fun store. In the afternoon! The next day I will go to get my eyes checked and take a walk with a friend.

And then, finally, I will get my HAIR CUT! For the first time in a year. I’ll feel like a queen.

Of course, I still wear a mask out of care for others. But the freedom and lack of fear is just wonderful. Like being reborn.
