Well, here I am. It is 2022 and I am 87-years-old.

A lot has happened in the past five years.

In 2017, I did not know that it would be my last birthday with my life’s partner and beloved husband.

Only three years ago, we had no idea about Covid. The world is so very different now.

But still my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren are pouring love out on me.

I also have other loving relatives, my church brothers and sisters, friends and neighbors.

There is enough food and I am in good health.

I feel, and am, very fortunate and thank God for that.

IMHO I have not reached the stage of cranky old woman yet.

I guess at 87 I am still too young.
