I knew today was special, but I could not remember why. It kept bugging me. Now I know!

It is the anniversary of my engagement to Frits. That was such an exciting time. 

I wore a beautiful sky blue dress for the wonderful party that we had at his mother’s house. The reason we had it there is because it was much larger than my parents’ place. 

We could dance there in a room that was just through a set of glass doors. That room was as big as the living room! 

Frits is now in Heaven, but I am so glad that I still have the wonderful memories. And that I will dance with him again.
