Writing a book is not for wimps! I could leave it there, but allow me to explain.
We started the writing process a few years ago. We found a publisher early this year and have been editing, reediting, writing the preface, the captions, and many other parts of the book.
But earlier this week we reached a milestone. The front and back cover, title included, have been approved! Granted, the title has changed several times, but never again. It is a done deal.
What’s next? The book will be proof-read, formatted, checked again, and finally published. The goal is to get it all done so that it can be published on November 1. Of course, that may change.
But the title won’t!

I m writing a similar book about my experience during the German occupation of Holland
I was born in 1936 so I have a good memory of that time We came to the states in 1948
My book is called JAAK It’s in the final writing stage and am not sure if the publishing
process is worth the experience I do have it edited by several people and I have lots of pictures within the story of growing up during that time.
